Phoenx's Commission Page
Hi! My name is Jacob, and welcome to my commission page. Here you should find all the links you need to commission me. Please read through all pages before contacting me! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out. You can find me on Twitter or Instagram, both @phoenx_art. You can also email me at [email protected]
Procedure
1. First, send me a message of some sort with your request. Be as detailed as you’d like; the more detail the better. Some things to think of when submitting a request are characters, poses, a general mood, outfits, props, backgrounds, specific colors, expressions, etc.
2. I’ll send you a confirmation message with regards to your request and what the total will be. I’ll let you know whether or not I accept your request, and if I do, I’ll list out everything that factors into the total, a lot like a receipt. This is just to make sure you know what you’re paying for.
3. I’ll send the invoice out to your email through PayPal. You don’t have to pay this right away, but please note that I will not start your commission until the invoice has been paid in full. This is to prevent any scams.
4. I’ll start a sketch as soon as I am able. Depending on my schedule and level of motivation I have, my starting times may vary greatly. I am a full-time college student with more extracurriculars than I can handle, so please keep that in mind if I’m being a little slow. However, please feel absolutely free to message me as frequently as you’d like to get status updates on your commission.
5. I’ll provide progress updates with screenshots of your commission. By default, I always send progress images at the sketch stage, at the line stage, and sometimes at the flat color stage. Depending on the level of commission you request, I may update more frequently than others. You may ask for more frequent progress updates at any time.
6. I’ll send the commission file to you. Usually I do this through the platform I was originally contacted on, but I can also email the original file to you if you request so. Some social media platforms decrease the quality of the image, so keep that in mind.
7. I’ll post the commission to my social media and tag you. I’ll always ask if this is okay with you first. If so, I usually always follow up with “what social media can I tag you in?” I post to Tumblr, Twitter, and Instagram, so those are the accounts I’m asking for. You can always say no to me posting your commission or tagging you, and I’ll respect that.

Extra Info
I use PayPal Business for payment. I’ll send you an invoice (an email is required) with all the relevant details of the commission as well as a grand total. You may pay this either with your own PayPal account or as a guest with a debit/credit card. This is the safest option for both the buyer and seller, as it’s the most protected way to hold a transaction. Please do not send me payments through any other means. No worries if you do, it’s just a little harder for me to process things, as PayPal then expects me to ship a physical item (which I do not do).I need payment upfront. I will not start your commission until the invoice is paid for in full. If you need accommodations for any reason, please let me know and we can work something out.I do not accept gift cards, buying from wishlists, etc. People have abused this option in the past and I would rather play it safe than accept another commission like that again.Send me a message before you start a dispute claim with PayPal or your bank statement. Disputes withdraw money from my bank account, which I have to pay a fee for. If you have a problem, please talk it out with me first.
